This vibrant Non-Vintage sparkling rosé is a thoughtfully crafted blend of 90% Glera and 10% Raboso, grown in the characteristic gravelly soils of the Treviso province in northeastern Italy's Veneto region. As a pioneer in the Prosecco DOC territory, the producer has maintained certified organic and vegan viticulture since 2003, a significant achievement given the region's high humidity which makes organic farming challenging. The gravel-rich terroir contributes to the wine's mineral backbone, while sustainable practices—including the avoidance of chemical pesticides and the use of drip irrigation—ensure the purest expression of the fruit.
Visually, the wine presents a brilliant, light salmon-pink color with a gentle, fine effervescence. The nose is delicate and inviting, offering primary aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of watermelon, complemented by subtle secondary notes of sea salt and citrus zest. On the palate, this is a light-bodied and decidedly dry wine, characterized by lively acidity and juicy flavors of redcurrant, gooseberry, and ripe peach. Crafted using the Martinotti-Charmat method, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation of 20-25 days in stainless steel tanks to preserve its vibrant aromatics, finishing with a medium-length, charming aftertaste of edible flowers and blood orange.
This wine has been recognized for its exceptional value and quality, earning a 90-point "Best Buy" rating from the Beverage Testing Institute and a Gold Medal from the Gilbert & Gaillard International Competition. Its crisp profile makes it highly versatile for food pairings, particularly with American-leaning cuisine. It pairs beautifully with oven-fried chicken, where the wine's acidity cuts through the richness of the breading, or with a fresh Cobb salad, complementing the creamy textures of avocado and egg.
